Gul-R-Boy Fishing Reports
Fishing Report - Spring 2021 ________________ March, 18 2021 Report: The last couple of trips I’ve had good catches of spot tails. The flood waters from the Pee Dee and the Black Rivers are still effecting Winyah Bay. The spot tails are starting to bite on the lower end of the bay. Haven’t seen any trout yet, but they should show up any day. It’s usually mid May before I start catching flounder on a consistent basis. With what I’m seeing bait-wise, we should have a good late spring and early summer bite. Keep your rod tip up Capt'n Mike _______________ August 26, 2020 Report: There's a lot of tarpon around now and should hang around until October. The small spot tails are thick, it should be a good fall, better than the last 2 years. Trout are starting to move up in shallower water. There's plenty of bait this year. Flounder fishing should be good until the water temp gets in the mid 60s. Keep your rod tip up Capt'n Mike _______________ I will be updating the reports monthly. Check back soon! Thanks, Capt'n Mike Contact me today (843) 520-6339
